Varsity Winter Guard Fee - $800

Please read the following before filling out the form!


About this fee:

All students registering for Band and Guard are required to pay fees to cover needed items for the year. Fees must be paid in full in order for the student to attend all booster social events unless other arrangements have been made with the Booster Club.


All Band & Color Guard Fees must meet stated deadlines, or the student is at risk of losing his/her performance position unless other arrangements have been made with the Booster Club. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to make payment plan arrangements with the Booster Club.


These fees go toward items like competition entry fees, uniforms, music arrangement, choreography, clinicians, props, and participation at the state competition in April.


Incoming Freshmen or those new to the Elkins Band Program may have additional purchases.


The first guard payment of $200 includes a non-refundable deposit on the costume for the marching show. It is due by December 1.


It is the philosophy of the Elkins Band & Guard Staff that financial obligations should NOT prohibit any student from performing in the Fine Arts if they wish to do so. The staff and Booster Board will work with all families needing to extend payments additional months. Please reach out to the treasurer at treasurer@elkinsband.org.


Fee Acknowledgement:

By typing your name to the fee acknowledgement field below, you agree with the following statements:

1) I understand that this document represents a payment agreement with the Elkins Band Boosters.

2) I understand that I am financially responsible for these fees and will have them paid according to the published due date unless otherwise arranged with the Elkins Band Booster Treasurer.

3) I understand that fees are non-refundable after January 1, 2026. To get a refund, I must contact Mr. Chen and Booster Club Treasurer (treasurer@elkinsband.org) before January 1, 2026.

4) I understand that if my student loses or forgets a required item, I will be charged a replacement fee for each instance.

5) In the event of denied credit card charges, I will provide new credit card or payment information within three (3) days of notice from the Elkins Band Boosters.

6) With regard to outstanding payments, I understand that if I don't respond to booster club communications or make payments in a timely manner, my student’s ability to perform, and/or participation in certain activities, like the Spring Trip, will be at risk.


Payment options:

Pay in Full - You will use a credit card. Processing fees will apply.

Pay Later - You can pay in full using Zelle or check. See instructions below.

Payment Plan - You will break up the payments. The only payment option here is credit card so that it can be billed at the months indicated below.


Payment plan:

  • 1st payment of $200: by December 1
  • 2nd payment of $200: by January 1
  • 3rd payment of $200: by February 1
  • 4th payment of $200: by March 8


If paying by Credit Card:

Select Pay in Full or Payment Plan and proceed. In the Zelle Confirmation space, put CC.


If paying by Zelle:

At check-out, select "Pay Later" and then transfer money to the email address: elkinsbandzelle@gmail.com. Use the name Elkins Band Booster Club. Put your student's name and "Winter Guard fees." (e.g. Sue Smith - Guard fees). Zelle: elkinsbandzelle@gmail.com. Add the Zelle confirmation number into the field where asked. You will receive an invoice, but you don't have to do anything since you already paid via Zelle.


If paying by Check:

At check-out, select "Pay Later." Make the check out to "Elkins Band Booster Club" and send to school with your child to give to Mr. Chen. Add the check number into the field where asked. You will receive an invoice to serve as a reminder to turn in your check.


After you've added all the items you want to the cart, check out by clicking the cart on the upper righthand side of the screen.
