Elkins High School Band

The Texas Music Educators Association Region 13 High School Region Orchestra Audition is approaching. This is an exciting opportunity for our band students to demonstrate growth on their instrument and playing ability in an individual competitive orchestra (Winds and percussion) setting. This audition will also be used for percussion students for placement in the Region Percussion Ensemble.

The auditions take place on Wednesday, November 12, at Elkins HS. Buses will not be provided; students will need to find their own transportation to and from the audition. If students are placed into the region orchestra, they will need to ensure that they are available the weekend of November 20th - 22nd, 2025, for the Region Orchestra Clinic and Concert, which will take place at Dulles High School. Additionally, if percussion students make the percussion ensemble, they will need to be available the weekend of January 23rd - 24th for the Percussion Ensemble Clinic and Concert, which will take place at Elkins High School.

There is a $30 entry fee required to audition.
