Spring Banquet Friday, May 22nd at 6:00PM
The Elkins Band & Guard Banquet will be held on Friday, May 22nd from 6:00–10:00 PM at Quail Valley Golf Club (2880 La Quinta Dr, Missouri City, TX 77459). The Band Boosters and Band Directors have put a tremendous amount of planning into this special evening, and it is sure to be a fun and memorable celebration for our students and families.
When you arrive, please stop by the check-in table to pick up your wristband before entering the event. We look forward to celebrating an amazing year together!
Reminder: The dress code is Sunday best/business casual. No jeans, shorts, T-shirts, or flip flops. School dress code policies will apply. We look forward to seeing all of you there.
MOD Pizza Spirit Day– Wednesday, May 27th
Make lunch or dinner easy on Wednesday, May 27th, and support the Elkins Band & Guard at the same time! Since students have an early release that day, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab a meal from MOD Pizza (18931 University Blvd). MOD Pizza will donate 25% of your purchase back to the Elkins Band & Guard program for dine-in, takeout, or delivery orders. Just use code MODGIVES25 when ordering. We appreciate your support!
Seniors — Time to Clean Out Your Closet!
As you wrap up your time with Elkins Band and Guard, look through your closet for any gently used marching shoes, blue dri-fits, or black shorts you no longer need. If you’d like to pass them along to support future members, we’ll have a donation box available in the uniform room starting Thursday. Your generosity helps keep our program strong—thank you for giving back!
Concert Uniform Return
As we wrap up the concert season, it’s time to gather and return all concert uniforms. Please make sure your uniform is placed neatly in its garment bag and hung on your instrument rack, then behind the circle labeled with your name.
Return Deadlines:
- Non–Wind Ensemble students: Please return your uniform by Friday, May 15 (early returns after the May 13 concert are appreciated!)
- Wind Ensemble students: Please return your uniform by Friday, May 22 (you’re welcome to return it right after the May 21 recording session!)
Important Reminder: Uniforms must be returned on time to keep our program running smoothly. Missing uniforms will result in a $100 replacement fee, and invoices will be issued after the deadline. Students with outstanding uniforms will not be eligible for marching band placement in the fall, and seniors risk graduation participation if uniforms are not returned.
The Band Hall will not be accessible after the school year ends, so please plan ahead and return your uniform by your assigned date.
Thank you for helping us take great care of our uniforms and keeping everything organized for the seasons ahead!
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions that may pop up. The board is here to help!
It’s a great day to be a Knight!
