Elkins Band & Guard Family,

UIL week is finally here, and we are so excited to see our students take the stage and showcase all of their hard work from this semester! This week’s performances will take place at Crawford High School (4600 Hwy 6, Rosharon, TX 77583), and we would love to see our Band & Guard families there to support these talented musicians. Please check the band calendar for appropriate dates and times. Please plan to arrive early and stay to experience both the concert and sight-reading portions—it’s a special part of the UIL process! It is always more meaningful for our students to perform for a full audience, so we encourage parents, friends, and community members to come out and cheer them on. Let’s show up in a big way and celebrate these wonderful moments of music-making together!

Our EHS Band & Guard Popcorn Fundraiser is off to a fantastic start! We are halfway through the fundraiser.  As of Day 7 our students have already raised $4,952 in sales, generating $2,859 in profit toward our program goals. A big shoutout to our current top sellers for leading the way and showing incredible effort! Let’s keep the momentum going—every bag sold brings us closer to supporting an amazing year ahead, and don’t forget the fundraiser ends Wednesday, April 22nd!

Spring Banquet ticket prices go up to $55 tomorrow, April 16^th, and are on sale through May 1^st

This year’s banquet will take place on Friday, May 22nd from 6:00–10:00 PM at Quail Valley Golf Club. This is a family event, so feel free to bring friends and family to celebrate.  The tickets are  $55 and we will close sales on May 1^st.  We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins or sell tickets at the door, so be sure to secure yours early!  Tickets can be purchased through the Elkins Booster Hub — click here https://elkinsband.boosterhub.com/store/10324  to register for the event.  

Graduating seniors are free, but they need to register with that ticket option to be counted as attending. The free ticket option only applies to graduating seniors. Any reservations under that ticket option that is not for a graduating senior will be voided

The dress code is Sunday best / business casual. Please note that jeans, shorts, T-shirts, and flip flops are not permitted, and school dress code policies will apply.

Spirit Night at Torchy’s Tacos Monday, April 20^th  

Join us at Torchy’s Tacos on April 20 from 4–9 PM for a delicious fundraiser benefiting the Elkins Band & Guard at 9004 Sienna Crossing Drive, Suite 100, Missouri City.  Just show the flyer when you order, and 15% of your purchase will go directly to support our program. 

Spirit Night at 16 Handles on Friday, April 24^th

Treat yourself and support our amazing students at the same time!  Join us at 16 Handles on April 24 from 5 PM to close for a sweet fundraiser benefiting the Elkins Band and Guard. Just mention our fundraiser or use the code GIVEBACK, and 20% of your purchase will go right back to our program.  It’s the perfect excuse to grab some frozen yogurt with family and friends while making a difference. We can’t wait to see you there—let’s make it a delicious success!
