Elkins Band & Guard Family,

Come out to support our students at the Elkins Percussion Concert on Thursday, March 5th at 6:30pm. Admission is free and it will be in the school auditorium.

This Saturday, March 7th, both our Varsity and JV Winter Guard will perform at Westfork HS (180 Sorters McClellan Rd, Kingwood, TX 77339).  Tickets are $15 and may be purchased here: https://www.cognitoforms.com/TXCGC/TCGCWESTFORK

Each year we honor our Seniors with a slide show that showcases photos from baby days, elementary, middle school, early high school, and finally Senior photos. We are asking for 5 photos (one from each category) to be emailed to Secretary@elkinsband.org no later than March 30th. This will allow us time to put everything together before our spring banquet.  In the email subject line, please provide your senior's first and last name so I can organize the photos by student and be sure no student is misidentified and so I can be sure we've got photos for every student.  Please don't wait until the last minute!

Spring Banquet tickets are on sale!  This year’s banquet will be held on Friday, May 22^nd from 6:00-10:00 pm at the Quail Valley Golf Club.  It is a family event, bring your friends and family!  You can purchase your tickets on Elkins Booster Hub; click HERE to register for the event.  The dress code is Sunday best/business casual. No jeans, shorts, T-shirts, or flip flops. School dress code policies will apply.   Banquet tickets must be purchased in advance!  Ticket sales will end on May 1^st.  We will not take walk-ins at the event; no tickets will be sold at the door. 

BANQUET TICKETS: 

• Tickets are $45 per person through April 15^th
• Ticket prices rise to $55 per person April 16^th through May 1^st  
• Banquet ticket sales end May 1^st
• Graduating seniors are free, but they need to register with that ticket option to be counted as attending. The free ticket option only applies to graduating seniors. Any reservations under that ticket option that is not for a graduating senior will be voided
• Tickets are non-refundable.

• Wednesday, March 25 - parent social at Texas Biergarten for their BINGO night, starting at 6:30 p.m
• Thursday March 26 - Spirit Night at Jason's Deli

Student Led Fundraiser

Thank you to the groups that put together a fundraising plan. It was a tough call to make! We had two groups create a pickleball tournament, one group with a bake sale, one with a water fight, and one with a car wash. We decided that since each of the groups did a great job with planning and communicating their ideas that everyone will get an ice cream bar during class on April 20! 

The Booster Club would like to see students come together to plan car washes and the pickleball/bake sale tournament. We discussed having the tournament on Community Bash Day in the fall. We also discussed doing car washes over the summer and having the jazz band perform for people waiting for their cars to be washed.   Now that you've taken the time to plan, it's time to put those plans in motion!
