Elkins Band & Guard Family,

Tonight at 6:30 PM, our Full Orchestra will present their Good Luck performance at Elkins High School as they prepare for UIL. We would love to fill the room with familiar faces and supportive cheers, so please come out and enjoy this special send-off performance and help us wish them the very best!

Don’t forget—TODAY, February 18th, is our next Spirit Night at Brandani’s Burgers, Tacos & Brews, anytime from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Bring your family and friends for a great meal while supporting our amazing Band & Guard program. Brandani’s will generously donate 20% of all ticketed sales back to Elkins when you place your receipt in the Spirit Night box while dining in or mention Elkins Band & Guard for carryout. Every burger, taco, and shared meal helps fund our students’ performances, travel, and program needs—thank you for your continued support!

This Saturday, February 21st, both our JV and Varsity Winter Guard will be competing at Pearland High School (3775 S Main St, Pearland, TX 77581).  JV performs at 12:43 PM and Varsity performs at 6:44 PM.    We hope to see lots of Elkins spirit in the stands as we cheer on both teams! Hawaii Trip-Mandatory March 2^nd meeting, Communication & T-Shirt Info

Please mark your calendars for a mandatory trip meeting on Monday, March 2, starting at 6:30 p.m., tentatively in the Elkins HS auditorium.  Parents, chaperones, and students will meet to discuss the trip, what is expected, what you need to know, what to pack, etc.

Our Hawaii trip participants will be using GroupSpot as our communication app during the trip. This will be our go-to place for daily updates, important reminders, and fun photos—so parents at home can follow along and see what their kiddo is up to each day.  Chaperones, students, and parents can join using this link: https://get.groupspot.app/mS3LB

Silent Auction Donations Needed 

Do you have an item you’d be willing to donate to our silent auction? We are looking for both physical items—such as a new television, tablet, or gift basket—as well as experience-based donations like tickets, lessons, or adventures (zip lining, anyone?). Every contribution helps and is greatly appreciated!

Senior Slideshow Pictures – Due March 31st!

Each year we honor our Seniors with a slide show that showcases photos from baby days, elementary, middle school, early high school, and finally Senior photos. We are asking for 5 photos (one from each category) to be emailed to Secretary@elkinsband.org no later than March 30th. This will allow us time to put everything together before our spring banquet.  In the email subject line, please provide your senior's first and last name so I can organize the photos by student and be sure no student is misidentified and so I can be sure we've got photos for every student.  Please don't wait until the last minute!
